Ed Offterdinger

Ed Offterdinger is a Special Advisor at Krauthamer & Associates, where he assists the firm with strategic planning, relationship management and client development.

 

Prior to joining K&A, Ed served as Executive Managing Partner at Baker Tilly, a full-service accounting and advisory firm with approximately 3,000 employees and partners nationwide. At Baker Tilly, he was a member of the National Management Committee and Board. He chaired the Strategy Committee providing insight, advice and counsel with respect to matters of enterprise strategic planning. He also served as Managing Partner of the firm’s consulting practice with 300 partners and employees. He joined Baker Tilly in 2009 when it merged with Beers & Cutler, where he served as Managing Partner for 10 years after leading the firm’s Assurance practice.

 

Active in the community, Ed was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and has served as Treasurer and on the Board of organizations such as the Greater Washington Board of Trade, Junior Achievement of the National Capital Area, and The Woods Academy.

 

He is the recipient of myriad awards, including the Washington Business Journal’s Power 100, Metropolitan region’s 100 most influential business leaders and WBJ’s CEO Leadership Award for Philanthropy.

 

Ed holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Virginia, and completed the Darden School of Business Executive Education program in Leadership for Extraordinary Performance. He lives in Bethesda, MD with his wife, Donna.
